My Students

Many of my students do not have much in terms of possessions and financial stability but they work hard and persevere. They are very appreciative of the things they receive and any time you give them.

I try to be an emotional support to as many of my students as I can.

I provide supplies to many of my students because they just don't have the money for school supplies. School supplies are a low priority when you are without other basic necessities.

I am in a transient district, which adds to the struggles of the students who move around a lot. In order to catch my students up to grade level, I have to help them work on fluency and skills from lower grades.

Our staff cares a lot about our students and we try to show how much we care by working hard to get them what they need.

My Project

We have a very new and developing swimming program. Our program is in a low socio economic area. I am a new coach and I am trying to help develop this program and give our students the chance to compete with the teams in our district.

Our student athletes need to be able to practice starts using a starting system.

Many of our swimmers are new and have never competed in a swim meet. This starter system would give us the opportunity to practice starts matching the environment of a swim meet. This system would also allow us to host a home swim meet. The tripod helps protect the equipment from being on the wet floor at the pool. Thank you for any help you can give to our hardworking athletes.
