Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As I prepare for the 2024-2025 school year I start to look at essential supplies I will need, as well as some fun new things to add to the classroom wish list. My students are amazing Multilingual Learners and they deserve the best!

Wish list items this year include pencils, Lysol wipes, a laminator, fidget toys, poster hangers, dry-erase markers, erasers, magnets, and manipulatives for learning English!

The Lysol wipes will keep our desks germ-free. The laminator and pouches will allow me to easily make vocabulary cards for students each week. The poster hangers and magnets will help me to easily put up our word walls and showcase student work. The dry-erase markers are used by students on their personal whiteboards as they are learning how to write in English. The Sentence Building Dominos and Affixes Bingo will allow us to have fun while we are learning! And the fidget toys will help keep us focused.
