NGSS Science, Math, and Technology... Here We Come!

Help me give my students first grade daily math journals, NGSS science reading books, and two Asus 11.6' Chromebooks to support our math, science, and reading programs to bring success for all students.

My Students

I teach first grade in the bay area to an eager group of learners! My students love to be challenged, develop, and grow in their learning through leveled reading groups, Writer's Workshop, small group collaboration, hands-on stations, technology, and interactive science lab books. I want my students to be proficient readers, writers, scientists, and mathematicians who can collaborate with each other!

My students love science and non-fiction books that teach our class information about the topics and units in science we will be studying this year.

The NGSS Science books will help our class launch the various units of study we will cover this year. We have Interactive Science Lab Notebooks where my students are learning to draw and label the hands-on science experiments we create in class that reinforce the concepts we are learning in science.

Our class thrives in small group and station learning environments where students can use updated technology as a tool to support their reading, writing, and math fluency.

My Project

NGSS Science reading books, Daily Math Journals, and two Chromebooks will help advance and support our developing and growing first grade students. The Daily Math Journals will help our first grade students practice, learn, and review all of the various math skills and standards that we learn all year.

Our NGSS Science Reading books will provide the necessary materials we need to inspire and launch our NGSS science units that we will be learning about this year.

Our two Chromebooks will provide the updated technology we need in our classroom to support opportunities my students need to practice their phonics, reading fluency, writing, math fact fluency, and collaboration in small groups.
