Help me give my students the recognition that they have worked so hard to receive. The recognition board is very nice and will disply the cadets names in a first class fashion.

My Students

The project is for the JROTC classes at North Central. This elective course is compiled of students that choose to learn what it is to serve their country. The course gives them a taste of military life by showing them discipline, how to dress as a cadet, and have pride in their country.

The cadets use the skills learned during class to compete in competitions outside of school hours.

This gives them the opportunity to put what they learn to the test against other JROTC teams throughout the state of Indiana.

The cadets that stay to achieve a LET 8 are the best of the best and are interested in pursuing a career in the military. This distinction should be honored and that is the reasoning for the purchasing of the NEXT LEVEL Board.

My Project

The next level board will hang on the wall of the JROTC hallway. The cadets that choose to serve will be recognized on that board for at least six years. A ceremony will be held three times a year for cadets to have their family and friends share in the joy of their decision.

Right out of high school, college is not for everybody and the students that choose to serve need their place on the wall.

Military service is a commitment of self and these are the young people that want to take advantage of joining the military need to be celebrated.
