My Project

My students need a set of Meta Quest 3s and a Nintendo Switch2 console to expand our computer science classroom into an interactive, immersive learning space.

The Meta Quest 3s will allow students to explore emerging technologies like virtual reality — helping them understand how hardware and software work together in the real world.

Students can experiment with storytelling, coding concepts tied to real-world input/output systems, digital citizenship, and game design through hands-on projects.

The Nintendo Switch2 console will be used as a platform to explore game design principles, problem-solving strategies, computational thinking, and interactive storytelling. By analyzing game mechanics, user interfaces, and system logic, students will learn how coding concepts apply to the games they already love. It will also support collaborative learning and teamwork.

Together, these tools will transform abstract computer science concepts into engaging, real-world experiences that inspire creativity, innovation, and future-ready skills in elementary learners.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
