Our school has newcomer students who need support with both hygiene and their learning literacy in Spanish and English. By learning with bilingual books, students will build their vocabulary and show growth in both language literacies. This is so important for growing in reading and writing across both languages.

Here's what we need to be the best learners daily at school:
- Bilingual Books - to help us learn literacy in both English and our Native Spanish Language
- Hygiene Products to help us stay fresh to learn - mini-deodorants, toothbrushes and toothpaste, feminine hygiene products
- Brita Filters - to help keep us hydrated with good hygiene of filtered water with our Brita pitcher in-classroom so we use all our class time
- Fruit Snacks - to keep our bellies happy to learn throughout the day
- Notebooks - to keep our notes in as we learn to read better
- Headphones - to listen to audiobooks in English
- Fans - to keep our newcomer students cool when the school year starts without AC, the building heats up
- Standing Desk - to support all learners' needs to learn the way they learn best, Standing up
