New Year Supplies - The Year of the Horse

My Project

My second graders are an amazing bunch! They love to create and learn. I am always looking for new ways to challenge them and keep them curious. As we begin the New Year, we will focus on activities around the Lunar New Year!

Art supplies and Legos featuring the theme of Lunar New Year will help my students to create, learn and play while using our curriculum from Panda Express.

The Panda Express curriculum provides a solid foundation to introduce my students to Lunar New Year. I want to add additional activities of Lego builds for teamwork, more extensive art projects with oil pastels and paint pens and some activities from Teachers Pay Teachers. All of these materials will allow me to differentiate to their varying skill levels and allow everyone to participate and learn about the Year of the Horse.
