This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Writing is so important in second grade and these journals and whiteboards will help students become better writers. Both the journal and whiteboard have guide lines to help students write letters the correct size. The n and h are different sizes but to a second grader they start to look the same if they have no guide lines to guide them when they are writing.

When they are writing cool and interesting stories about their adventures in second grade the black marking pens will help their words leap off the page.

When they write all the awesome facts they know about the world the black pens will yell their knowledge out loud.
