My Project
Students are preparing for coming back to school. Part of this involves purchasing school supplies for use in the classroom. Not all families in our area are able to afford to buy the needed supplies for their children.
These supplies will allow for all students to start the year with their own headphones that they will use daily in the classroom.
Having new supplies available for low income students helps them feel instantly welcome and connected to our classroom family. Kids are often confused as to why other kids have supplies and they don't. I like to have all materials prepped for these kids, so that they feel included.
