New Year, New Goals, New Joy

Help me give my students books, multiplication practice, magnet materials for our new calendar, yard signs for goals met, headphones for video creation, a tripod for memories, and baskets for our PBIS rewards.

My Students

We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school. I have only just received my class list and started to get to know my students' names and faces.

My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher every day.

I want to grow with them!

Our school includes over 60% free or reduced-price lunch recipients, but together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.

Although this year may look a little different whether in person, online, or a mix of both, I know we'll build our classroom community and become the family we always are.

My Project

Fall of 2020 has been full of lots of adventures, lots of changes, lots of moments and memories. Before winter break I took a look around my classroom. We had two days of virtual learning so it gave me a few extra moments to reflect and look forward.

Fall 2020 has been hard, but January 2021 is going to bring a new year, new goals, and new JOY!

The magnetic multiplication will be great for helping us learn our math facts. I am going to use it as a positive mystery reward. The yard signs will be great as many of my students have almost met their reading goals and they will be dropped off at their homes for a week proud moment!

The lamination pouches will be used to create anchor charts that my students learning at home can utilize.

The plastic bins will house my newly sorted positive behavior rewards. Students choose from a whole bunch of paper reward coupons, but these bins will make choosing from the reward bins much easier.

The magnet counters and magnet printer labels will be used on our new magnetic calendar. We love looking forward to school and classroom events and this will help with that.

The book sets will be given to my students each month. I love to inspire reading through free books!

Lastly, the tripod will be used to take the many classroom photos that we love to capture. I like to make a video classroom newsletter and it gets hard to find someone to take our picture.
