New Year Gifts for the Curious Minds

Help me give my students motivational notebook and pen set to celebrate lunar new year!

My Project

Lunar New Year is the most celebrated holiday for my Chinese immigrant students. I want to take this opportunity to make them feel home in America by giving them each a new year gift of motivational journal notebooks that include quotes such as 'Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.' and 'A positive attitude will lead to positive outcome'. I hope that students will use the motivational journal notebooks to write their new year resolution as well as their hopes for the year of dragon. Throughout the year, I will ask students to record their achievements and reflections as the new year progress on the notebook. Another item I requested is the multi-color pens, I will print out blank lunar new year decoration paper for students to use the multi-color pens to draw and/or color. I will then put up student-created decorations in the classroom to imbue the class with a festive spirit. Happy Lunar New Year and thank you for celebrating Asian cultures in our community!
