This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you in advance for your help in providing my students with STEM Activities for Autistic Students! My students have skill development delays due to the COVID pandemic. The Winning Fingers Pop Up Board Game 2-Player Preschool Game with Alphabet Puzzle Pieces, LLAMA Social Emotional Game for Kids - Make Faces & Describe Feelings, Dailyfunn Montessori Toy Wooden Sorting Cup&Fishing Game, Simon Memory game, and stretchy noodles will be so helpful in helping these students learn. My students enjoy interactive sensory-based motor activities and would benefit greatly from these exquisite toys to enhance their fine motor, visual motor, and visual perceptual skills!

The students range from kindergarten up to grade 4.Their diagnoses include Autism, developmental delays, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Batten Disease, Angelman's Syndrome, and students with speech impairments and other disabilities.

I will also share the donations with colleagues of mine who also work students with special needs in this school. We have a large therapy room consisting of occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physical therapists. We collaborate when developing treatment plans, and will all benefit from this donation! Thank you so much for your help in providing them with these materials!
