Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my class come from many different backgrounds. This makes our classroom an amazing learning environment. Each day the students learn from each other. They support the idea that every learner is at a different level, but we all share something that makes us special.
My students are enthusiastic and curious learners who come from diverse social, economic, and academic backgrounds!
My students are resilient. They come to school each day ready to take on new challenges and grow academically and socially. I admire their passion to learn!
My Project
This is a great starter kit for the school year! Having all of these supplies readily available for the students promotes a well prepared and organized learning community.
Having these supplies for the students promotes acceptance.
There are no students singled out due to family resources.
The students will use all of the supplies daily. We all make mistakes, but 3rd graders love erasing them! They will make good use of the clipboards when they choose to sit in other areas to complete independent or group work and we use dry erase markers for almost every subject. They love erasing those as well!
These supplies will be a great way to promote readiness! Let's go!
