Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach first grade in Sacramento, Ca. My scholars are very excited and eager to learn. I would like to create and foster an environment that encourages children to be curious about the world around them.

My goal is to not only to support and nurture students' growth academically, but I would like to ensure they are well-rounded individuals who are kind and caring.

My goal as an educator is to create a positive learning environment for all learners.

My Project

With your support I am hoping to supply whiteboards and headphones for our classroom. This will help us in making learning engaging during carpet time and computer time.

Whiteboards will be used to support primarily math and writing skills.

During learning it is easy to lose the focus of students. By having whiteboards students will be able to follow along with teaching without the waste of paper.

We currently have 7 chrome books for my class of 25. I am hoping to replace our old headphones because many of the broke. If we get new headphones scholars will be able to engage in blended learning.
