New to 2nd Grade/Classroom Materials Needed

Help me give my students a learning environment that is suitable for 2nd graders. Composition books, a printed alphabet, bulletin board paper, large easel paper, and books bins will be helpful when teaching a new grade level.

My Project

Turtle Rock Elementary has students from many different cultures and socioeconomic statuses, and they all love walking into a classroom that is designed and organized for learning. Starting a new grade level can be expensive.

Having a warm environment with new bulletin board paper, dots for carpet story time, book bins for leveled reading, large sticky chart paper for whole group activity discussions, composition books for writing activities, a magnetic number line and a print alphabet chart for letter and number recognition, name tag holders for music time, and desktop adhesive nameplate holders, will all be helpful in creating a learning environment for my future second graders.

I look forward to putting it all together over the summer and can't wait to see all the excited little faces when I open their new classroom, their "home away from home", in August.
