My students are pure joy, intelligent, and very active! They enjoy learning in different ways. This allows for some flexibility in our planning, but it's worth every second. They have specific learning goals and do their absolute best to keep up with their peers.
Our school is very encouraging of our ESS program, and we strive to include all levels of learners in our classrooms.
Most of my sweet kids come from low-income families. We have great parent support, but for the ones who need a little extra, I take up that role.
I am an energetic educator and love getting my students moving and using all their senses when we learn. I KNOW every child can learn, and I am passionate about supplying those resources for them. My exceptional scholars deserve the best! They are the best!
My Project
Science is cool! Science is the cornerstone of our existence, and we as educators have a responsibility to enable our youth with the knowledge they need. Why shouldn't we be teaching elementary students how to build simple machines and robots at a young age?
I know the advancement of prosthetics first-hand.
I'm a bilateral lower limb amputee, and my students love learning about MY robot legs. I have a great passion for differentiated learning, and this is just another way to get them active in their own learning.
The fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and teamwork involved in the activities I've chosen will be vital for my scholars. These are highly reinforcing items for all of my students.
Social skills is another area we work on together, and "tinkering" with peers teaches great teamwork and communication. This space with these activities will reinforce their hard work and encourage fun in learning!
