Flexible seating helps students become more independent and feel confident in their ownership of the time in class. I work with students who have tons of energy and I’d love to be able to check this off of my to-do list for them. They deserve to be able to learn the way THEY learn. Attention deficits and labels should never hold a child back. I want to help with some of this energy by providing chairs that “feel and push back” some of that energy. This will be much more beneficial than the stiff, stagnant ones they currently use. I do not even use those, why should they?! Here’s to alternative seating for my scholars!
