Help me give my students the supplies, books, and learning materials they need to have a successful school year. As a new kindergarten teacher, I am building my classroom from the ground up.

My Project

My kindergarten students are curious, resilient, and eager to learn. As a new teacher, I am working hard to build a classroom filled with the resources that support their growth in reading, writing, science, and math.

Many of my students are developing foundational literacy skills and benefit from engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

The phonics and short-vowel readers will help students practice decoding, build fluency, and gain confidence as beginning readers. Books about weather, farm animals, plants, and day and night will strengthen vocabulary, build background knowledge, and support our science curriculum while encouraging a love of reading.

The KleenSlate dry erase boards, magnetic write- and wipe sentence strips, and markers will provide students with daily opportunities to practice letter formation, sight words, sentence writing, and math skills while allowing for immediate feedback and correction. These reusable materials make learning interactive and help students stay actively engaged during lessons.

The round floor cushions will provide comfortable seating during small-group instruction, independent reading, and classroom discussions, helping students remain focused and ready to learn. Construction paper and paint brushes will support creative projects that reinforce academic concepts while allowing students to express their understanding through art.

These resources will give my students the tools they need to strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
