This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every day my students walk into our classroom full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I teach at a Title I school in California where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can, so they can be successful one day.

My Project

I am requesting various colors of ink for our printer. Our printer helps us print important letters, reading centers, and a ton of other learning activities. Being able to print learning centers helps our students with reading and math. Kids enjoy working in groups and playing while learning. We switch cartridges at least twice in a school year and fully funding this project will help us so much. We will use the standing easel for art. We look forward to fully funding our project, receiving these materials, and putting them to use. During Distance Learning my students enjoy directed drawing. My students love opening boxes!
