Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are all very hard workers and truly love being at school. Our families and students have gone through a difficult time with the pandemic but they still continue to come to school and keep a smile on their face. They make the room light up when they walk in. They remain positive in light of everything that is going on. I couldn’t be any more proud of them.

My Project

These supplies will help my students learn tremendously as the paper is for the various arts and crafts we do in class that are based off of what we are learning. The paper making kits are so that we can experience paper making as we learn about ancient civilizations with our social studies curriculum. The pencils are so that my students always have something to write with. The teachers pay teachers gift cards will help me provide my students with very useful resources that will help them in their every day learning. The rug is so my students have a nice place to sit and learn when we read new books or when they want to do their work in a separate setting.
