They were so proud!\r\nAnother big project we do in November is \"Balloons Over Broadway.\" This is based on a book about the first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. All the children design and build their balloon floats and we march through the school in and out of the classrooms with parade music playing. Things are also out of sight so students who are easily distracted or disturbed visual clutter are able to focus on the lesson at hand. \r\n\r\nThe new rug has been the biggest hit among students.
