My students are 90 amazing 7th and 8th graders. Our inner city school is home to 600 students, in which 99% of them qualify for free or reduced lunch. The daily obstacles and difficult challenges they face from living in a high poverty area is intense and many of them do not have basic school supplies and other necessary items. Despite all of the challenges these students face in their daily lives, each one of them comes to school ready to learn and succeed. With their determination to succeed, we are making great strides and with your support, nothing is impossible.
