My Project

This semester I have taken on a new class designed to help our struggling students with their reading and comprehension skills. These students have basic needs that if/when they are met, they may be able to focus more on their academic goals.

Included in the project are snacks, hygiene needs, and a safe location for students to keep their individual headsets.

Providing students with these items helps me build a positive classroom community; it also shows them that they are seen and that they matter to not only our school but the world.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
