New Space, New Storage

My Project

After many years in one classroom, I am moving to a new space and am in need of additional storage space for all of the materials that I use in implementing reading, writing, math, and engineering-design enrichment for students in first through fifth grades. My instruction is based on hands-on scientific inquiry, engineering-design projects, and the development of thinking skills through puzzles and games. As a result, I have an abundance of craft supplies, science tools, novels, introductory robotics kits, and manipulatives. These large shelving units will provide a home for these materials in my new classroom that has much less storage space. I also want my students to have the appropriate storage space for their materials as they begin the new school year in August. The plastic folders will provide a sturdy but small space for each student to store their designs and thinking that's ready to go on day one of class!
