This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students amaze me every day with their resilience despite any circumstances thrown their way. With the majority of my students coming from single, low-income households, there are many times struggles just to provide basic needs. Through those struggles, I often see students who have outgrown or worn through shoes, yet they're still on their feet.

The shoes and socks purchased through this project could put huge smiles on some kids' faces and relieve the burden from the hearts of several parents.

Every child should get the excitement of a new pair of school shoes, and your donation could help make that a reality for several of my students!
