Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is a busy and active space filled with many students throughout the day. While we work hard to keep everything neat and organized, having so many students sharing the same space can definitely make organization a challenge! With books, classroom materials, student supplies, and other resources being used each day, we could really use a few additional storage solutions to help everything have a designated place.

A new bookcase would make a wonderful difference in our classroom.

It would give us a place to neatly organize books, supplies, and learning materials so that students can easily find what they need and, just as importantly, know where to return it when they are finished.

Keeping our classroom organized is about more than simply making the room look neat. An organized environment helps students develop important skills such as responsibility, independence, and taking care of shared materials. When everything has a place, students can spend less time searching for what they need and more time focused on learning, participating, and being successful.

This storage solution will also help us create a classroom that feels welcoming, comfortable, and ready for learning each day. With so many students using our space, even a little extra organization can go a long way toward making our classroom run more smoothly.
