Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students the organizational tools they need to start our school year off on the right foot. Most of my students come from low-income households and are unable to obtain their own supplies.

My 6th graders are in their last year of elementary school and will use these tools to learn how to be more independent, prepared learners.

We will be using the notebooks to learn how to take notes and the folders will help us organize our work. The cardstock will allow us to split up notebooks into neat sections, and the pencil pouches will teach us how to be responsible for our own materials. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to buy resources for taking notes in an interactive notebook format that are engaging and fun for my students, while also helping to support my English language learners.
