Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One school year is coming to an end, but a new school year is coming up rapidly behind it, and awaiting me will be 26 new energetic students ready to be taught. I would like to start the year off right by having the supplies needed to learn and be organized.

Nothing is worse than having worked so hard on an assignment and then not being able to find it, or even worse have it be wrinkled and torn because it was stuffed inside the desk.

The supplies I am requesting will help students learn to start being organized by using folders and notebooks for different subjects. This will eliminate, or at least reduce, the “I can’t find my paper” dilemma that I hear so often.

The crayons, markers, and glue sticks will help with daily activities in almost every subject. Sometimes paper and pencil just aren’t enough and students need a little creativity to get the concept to stick in their heads.

We, as teachers, are here to guide and teach our students, but we need the correct tools in order to be able to do so to the best of our ability. This project will not only help my students, but also their parents, who may not be able to afford these supplies on their own. Any donation big or small would be appreciated.
