Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
If this new project gets funded before the beginning of next school year, I will be able to surprise and honor my students the very first day by having all the notebooks, pencils, pens and bins organized with their names.
The new group of students I will have on August 2024 is very special for me because I know them since they are in first grade and I understand how difficult is for their parents to meet all their students needs including school supplies.
In 2022-2023 school year I had them in my Spanish as a Second Language class. Then, this year I serve them as Social Emotional Learning teacher. It is so excited to think having them next school year as dual language third grade students.
