My Project

As a first-year school counselor, I am in need of materials to help build a quality ran program. Every item listed in my cart will contribute to building a quality ran school counseling program and meet the unique needs of our students. When it comes to working with students and pushing in to do classroom lessons, I regularly need to make copies for the students and sometimes families. But many times, I have run into issues because the district only gives us so many prints a month. You will see a printer and ink so that I can plan and implement my lessons more seamlessly. Also, I have listed hanging files and a digital clock. The hanging files would benefit me in keeping the student files organized as I'm responsible for submitting files to specific departments, keep track of student referrals, implement individual lessons and keep contact with community partners. It would help me to be able to keep the files organized and help me create a system where I am aware of what student needs what. The digital clock would not only assist me with attending meetings and pulling student at the time I have scheduled but it will also help the student to have a visual when it comes to how long they can stay with me and how long we will be working on a task. Having a background in play therapy the materials, I may use is endless. Listed below are dolls, gross motor items, dramatic play items, sensory items and social emotional games that will be used with the students to enhance the learning experience. Also, I've listed snacks. I give snacks for student of the month, students who may be hungry and for those who have shown improvement.
