My Students

My students are vibrant and come from a multitude of backgrounds that always enriches our classroom. We all focus on a policy of respect, and each of my students excel at showing respect to each other, even when they don't always agree.

My students are striving to become better readers, and impress me with their knowledge every day.

They often teach me to look at the world in a different way, and I become a mere facilitator to their inventive ideas.

My Project

With COVID-19 and increased at home learning, my students need more supplies and resources to help them be successful. Many of my sudents come to my classroom without the basic necessities of pencils and paper. Expecting them to have a book would be far out of their financial scope.

Having a physical copy of a book to take home helps the students keep up with the classwork during the ongoing pandemic.

Having access to reading materials is invaluable for teenagers. This project will allow my students to expand their worlds through reading.
