This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Ligatures are the metal piece that holds reeds onto a clarinet. Without this piece, clarinet players cannot play their instrument. Further, if a ligature is missing a screw (typically 2 screws) they also struggle to play properly. Ligatures are an essential material for clarinet players and they are also the most breakable and fragile part of the instrument. If they fall and get stepped on, they are trash!

Please help us get some new clarinet ligatures for our clarinet players so they can secure their reed on properly.

New ligatures will allow me to have some in stock in case one gets stepped on or ruined.
