New Furniture for a Better 2023

Help me give my students a more functional and mobile working environment with the addition of a new desk chair, adjustable standing desk, and magnetic hooks.

My Project

My students are amazing. I am grateful to live and work in this community. I am always pushing myself to create a better lesson and classroom environment that is more inclusive and creates an atmosphere that pushes students at every achievement level. This project will indirectly impact my students.

I find redesigning my room each semester reenergizing.

I tailor our classroom layout to the courses and students I teach. This semester I have changed the angles of student tables to provide more space at the front of the room for an adjustable standing desk. This desk will provide a home base for my computer, handouts, and other lesson materials. The new desk chair will replace my ten-year old chair and make grading more comfortable and ergonomic. The hooks will give me a place to hang Chromebook chargers and the laptop bag will protect my computer.
