Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach at an inner-city school that services many amazing, caring, and wonderful students. Even though many of them live in poverty and some have experienced some tough things in their young lives, they come to me with positive attitudes to learn and grow.

We need new storage crates to help us store and organize notebooks and headphones for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

Each day, students write in their notebooks; they respond to questions, jot down notes, practice using their vocabulary words, and create graphic organizers for writing. We use headphones for our online work.

Thank you so much for considering our project. I am excited to get the new school year started off on a positive and organized note!
