My Project

Most of our students in our Tier 1 school come to class ill prepared to be success, and our English Language students that are new to the U.S. can sometimes come with no prior schooling at all (or even an understanding of what might be helpful as they are learning). As I transition from our mainstream English I classes, I am hoping to set up my new students as we have our English I students - provided organizational binders to support overall learning and growth of their new skills.

As an experienced educator, I know how important being prepared and ready for the school year can be for students, especially if you might arrive or enter the school after the school year has started.

I am hoping to minimize the struggle with adjustments by providing as many resources as possible for them in my classroom. Reducing the need to find those resources on their own.
