This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This carpet will replace my current classroom carpet. I LOVE the one I have now, but it doesn't have a rubber backing, so each of the corners rolls up. This year, I have resorted to duck-taping the edges down. This carpet has lived a good life, but I think it's time to get a new one!

This new carpet will not only be larger, but it will also be better suited for my classroom space.

It has a rubber backing and is meant for high-traffic areas.

My goal is to give my students as much flexible seating as possible, and this carpet will be a vital component to reaching this goal!
