This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am moving classrooms in the fall and our new classroom is in need of a new rug to make it feel cozy and comfortable!

A new rug with sit spots for our class will be a great addition to help create a more productive and cohesive learning environment.

The rug will be used during our morning meetings, whole group lessons, and story time. The sit spots will help students stay organized and in their own space so kids aren't over crowded and there is an easy visual for kids to see where to sit on the rug.
