My students and their families loved it when they first saw it at open house. I received so many compliments on it not only from their families, but also from my colleagues. My students get really comfortable on it whether it is during our morning meeting, phonics, listening to stories, or when they choose to go on it during their playtime. It has helped to give them clear directions when they move to the rug and around the rug. It has been very helpful for them to show where they sit and to make sure they maintain their personal space!
