My Project

The WHS band program has started to grow at a rapid pace. The majority of students that participate in the band at WHS use a school owned instrument. Due to the rapid growth that we are experiencing, we have run out of several types of instruments. Rather than turn students away from the class, I would love to have instruments available for them to use so that they can continue to perform. Having school owned instruments available for the students will take away a lot of the financial commitments that many of the families in our community could struggle with.

These students have grown so much in the past couple of years.

Some of the big events that they have performed in include Ohio University Band Day, The Findlay Market Opening Day Parade, The Circleville Pumpkin Show Parade, The Jackson Apple Festival, multiple band festivals around Southern Ohio and several community events. Please consider supporting the WHS band so that these students are given further opportunities to shine.
