This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The school's band program is growing and in need of a clarinet to fill-out our woodwind section. Throughout the course of this year, there has been a growing number of student-requests to play the clarinet.

Due to the fact that our school is 90% Title-I, most of our students' families cannot afford the cost of new band instruments.

Therefore, it is critical that the school provides instruments to fill this need.

With the addition of this clarinet, the school's band program will continue to grow, and as many students as possible will get the opportunity to play!
