My Students

My future fourth graders are an incredibly diverse, bright and hardworking group of young people.

As our school is right in the heart of DC, our students are learning to use their voice and stand up for what they believe in; one day they will be the leaders of this country!

They have a wide variety of interests, from dinosaurs to world history, and they are always eager for a new text.

My Project

My students are voracious readers and they are ready for some new reading material! New reading material helps them to grow not only as readers and learners of new information, but as friends! We practice using our empathy skills and putting ourself in other characters' shoes to see how they feel.

Help my readers continue to have access to a wide variety of texts that they can enjoy this year.

They learn so much from these texts. They can travel the world, make a new friend and learn a new language, all through flipping the pages of a book!
