Help me give my students brand new books! These 2023-2024 books will be read over the summer and summaries shared with K-12 teachers at the Northwest Reading Conference in Montana. The books return to my classroom for students!

My Project

The books from this project are requested by students in my fourth grade classroom. Half of the books are also brand new 2023-2024 books. A group of teachers and I read through a number of new books over the summer. We present them to teachers at the North West Reading Conference in Montana! Each summer session we introduce books to teachers to keep them up to date on the newest and greatest reads for students.

After presenting at the Conference, the books are covered and added to my library shelf at school for all 4th and 5th grade classes at Mel Ruder Elementary!

I love that students stop by daily and borrow books that they know they will find in my classroom library. I love having a knowledge of what my kids and read and sharing that in book talks about their reading. Thank you for looking at this project. I hope you choose to donate to our project!
