The tactile, hands-on resources allow students to explore engineering concepts by physically building, testing, and redesigning their ideas. The ability to manipulate real materials, rather than just seeing concepts on a screen, helps them develop problem-solving skills, persistence, and collaborative strategies that are hard to replicate in any other format. The technology behind these STEM kits gives students opportunities to experiment with structures, stability, balance, and design in a way that feels like true engineering work.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students has been the creative freedom they have while using the seasonal STEM challenges. Each challenge feels like a \"mission,\" and they love diving into the task, brainstorming with their teammates, and putting their ideas into action. For many of them, this was the first time they experienced engineering as accessible and fun, not something reserved only for older students. I've also seen certain students, especially those who typically struggle with confidence or focus, blossom during these activities. One student in particular, who often hesitates during academic tasks, has taken a true leadership role during STEM challenges, guiding his group and encouraging peers. Seeing him light up with confidence has been one of the best parts of this project.","fullyFundedDate":1755697700468,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-stem-for-inspiring-engineers/9431485/","projectTitle":"Hands-On STEM for Inspiring Engineers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Morales","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9083186_orig.jpg?crop=1158,1158,x0,y88&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690656055509","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9083186"},{"teacherId":5218505,"projectId":9812155,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to provide books for our classroom!
