This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a bilingual speech and language therapist, I currently provide Spanish and English services to students in PreK- 3rd grade at several public schools across the Boston area.

This is my first year in the field and therefore, I have a limited supply of materials.

Having materials that incorporate my students' established interests helps provide engaging and meaningful therapy sessions. They have shown to greatly enjoy working with farm animals, puzzles, play food, and books. We need articulation bingo, puppets, learning locks, and more!

My hope is to utilize these materials to elevate their overall speech and language skills, fostering their development as effective communicators.
