Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Anticipation and excitement on the first days of the new school year can be seen and heard in my Kindergarten classroom. Everything is new and exciting for my very young students.My kindergarten students come from many different Latin American countries.

They attend school in a very large urban district in Texas where resources are very limited.

My very young students come to school very eager and excited to learn reading, writing, math, and how to get along with others. It is easy to remember that wonderful feeling of starting school with new friends.

I am requesting plastic storage bags in different sizes. The gallon size bags will be used to keep their headsets and the smaller snack size plastic bags will be used to store their crayons. The color masking tape will be used to label the book storage bins. The velcro dots will be used to stick their name plates on their desk and pencil boxes. The dry erase markers will be used with their personal white boards.
