Help me give my students classroom Chromebooks in case they ever forget to bring a device. The lack of charge is real.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Solis's classroom raised $820

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The 3 chromebooks for my classroom will be for any of my 150 students I see throughout the school year to use at any time they need to. We live in a digital age in education where a chromebook is a must to survive. Many of our students are provided one or have their own; however, there are many students who run out of charge, forget their chromebooks, need repairs, forgot to complete forms, etc. Regardless of life's circumstances, the learning and the use of them is a requirement in the classsroom. By having a set to use in the class, students will never miss out on a lesson or activity again.
The goal is to have chromebooks in the classroom to serve as spares for those students who do not have their chromebooks in class to never miss a beat.
Extra chromebooks in class will allow students to always be prepared and never be left out.
The students in my classroom are a diverse group of high-schoolers. They come from various racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our high school is a 9-12th-grade school with over 700 students. I teach over 150 of them and despite their good intentions, some occasionally forget to come prepared to class. I want them to always know that as the classroom teacher, I can support them with the resources and computers to keep them involved and engaged.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
