My students need a teacherspayteachers.com gift card to purchase online curriculum for my students.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My class consists of 21 first-graders. My school is in an urban area. All students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch. These students overcome adversity every single day.
I have never seen such a caring and loving bunch of kids.
They are always eager to please the teacher. It seems like pleasing me, in return, makes them happy. I have a diverse classroom, and students with various emotional and learning needs. My students enjoy coming to school every day, and most importantly, love to learn new things. They are such hard workers, and I enjoy watching them grow each day. They are hands-on learners, and I love to see their faces when they master a learning standard. I enjoy their innocence, motivation, and eagerness to learn. I am just as eager to provide them with the best resources to expand their learning.
My little first graders are beginning to learn about the world, and are tempted with too many wants. To help my students to begin learning about financial literacy, I need professional development resources and lesson ideas from Teachers Pay Teacher.
As my students are beginning to develop logical sense rather than acting based on their intuition, it becomes even more critical for them to learn the true meaning of needs and wants.
With the requested TpT gift card, I will be able to research and learn new strategies and ideas to incorporate into my lessons. Your help will enable me to grow as an educator and help my students to learn the basics of financial literacy, beginning with needs and wants.
