My Students

I teach in a high school located in the foothills of North Carolina where 100% of the students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Most of my students don't have the means to travel too far from this very rural area, but their minds are open to a bigger and more global world.

They have big hearts, are eager to learn about other cultures, and deserve every opportunity that will help them stay engaged.

Our school population is very diverse in aptitude, goals, and background, and, as a team, our school works hard so each student can work to his or her potential.

My Project

My students use a variety of class activities to practice with French vocabulary.

I would like to add the French Bananagram activity tiles to our repertoire of activities.

Students will use the tiles to practice vocabulary words, conjugate verbs, create sentences, or as story starters. The paper organizers are really a necessity for my classroom and will help not only with organization, but with tracking student work and progress. The organizers will be used to house student classwork, class handouts, and class journal notebooks.

The Kleenex and Germ X are necessary items but often go unnoticed. These items help keep us healthy and safe.
