My Students

My students are wonderful!

My students come to our math class to learn with incredible energy, attitude, perseverance, and that makes teaching 7th-grade math so incredibly rewarding.

We have strong and determined students that just need to be provided with quality resources in math to be able to successfully meet the 7th-grade math learning targets.

We have a diverse student population with 72% of the students receiving free and reduced-price lunch. These students have many obstacles such as language barriers, lack of supplies and support at home, so the time in school is crucial to provide these students with the necessary, quality resources.

My Project

It has been wonderful being back in person and using paper and pencil in math class however occasionally we still like to utilize all the amazing resources that are accessible with student chromebooks.

In order to successfully teach ALL STUDENTS they all need to have charged Chromebooks to access their work when utilizing technology resources.

The past year has been a hard year for students due to the Covid pandemic and so many of them are very excited to be back in person but forget to bring a fully charged computer so to help students still be able to participate in the lesson, these extension corders will be incredibly helpful to giving students the opportunity to work on their Chromebooks that may have no batteries.
