Being a teacher, I am privileged to teach such enthusiastic, caring, well-rounded children who are open to the world of possibility and learning. Every day, my students enter my classroom with smiles on their faces and an urgency to dive into learning new and exciting things!
Centers are a daily part of our classroom routine that allow my students to learn at their own pace, while exploring new topics and skills in exciting, creative ways!
With so many young, energetic learners, it's so important to keep my kids moving and active in the classroom. Having flexible, comfortable seating provides my students with a happy environment to learn and grow! We thrive on choosing the perfect location for our independent and group work, and it adds to our engagement and success in what we're learning.
Our classroom is a room filled with bright colors, a sense of relaxation, and many visually stimulating bulletin boards that capture the minds and attention of my students. By adding touches of student work and focus skills around the classroom, my students are able to see their hard work pay off, and also use the resources around the classroom to continue growing.
My Project
Organization is what makes our day flow with ease. Transitions are smoother, center time is fully utilized and our kids are prepared for a day full of learning. For this project we are looking to improve our guided reading center by having Norwood Commercial Furniture Plastic Stack Stools to sit around our table as we read. These stools are versatile in that we can move them freely around the classroom to have space to work independently as well.
Having a home for our art supplies (which we use EVERY single day), will make transitioning and accessibility much simpler for us.
By obtaining a Whitmor 10 Drawer Rolling Craft Cart we will know where our supplies are at all times.
